Admitted as a legal practitioner in 2001

Ann was admitted to the Bar after 12 years at the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office, including seven years as a senior solicitor in criminal law.  Ann specialised in regulatory offences, coronial inquests, review of decisions by statutory bodies and applications under Part 7 of the Crimes (Appeal and Review) Act 2001.

Ann has extensive experience advising on interpretation of criminal and related legislation, and has also practised in child protection, apprehended violence orders and charitable trusts.  She was a solicitor assisting the Special Commission of Inquiry into the Waterfall Rail Accident.
