Sharon Ramsden

Admitted as a barrister in 2025
Admitted as a legal practitioner in 2010


Before being called to the Bar, Sharon Ramsden was the Partner for Criminal Law at Marsden's Law Group. She had practised as a solicitor for 15 years. For the last ten of those years, she was recognised as a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law. 

Sharon has appeared as Solicitor Advocate in Local, District and Supreme Court Matters. She has instructed counsel in appeals to the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal, complex District Court trials and sentence hearings, as well as applications and trials in the Supreme Court.  

Sharon has also instructed in coronial inquests, and applications for judicial review such as the Inquest into the disappearance of William Tyrrell, Inquest into the disappearance of Matthew Leveson and the Inquiry into the convictions of the Croatian 6.

Sharon has experience in appearing for clients with complex mental health conditions, including diversionary applications in the Local and District Court.
