Since being admitted to practice in 2004 Andrew Wong has appeared in many NSW courts in both a defence and prosecution capacity. He has appeared in defended hearings, contested committals, bail hearings, sentence proceedings and section 32 applications in the Local Court. He has appeared in appeals (conviction and sentence), sentence proceedings, fitness hearings and jury and judge alone trials in the District Court. He has appeared in the Supreme Court and instructed counsel in the Court of Criminal Appeal.
