Since being admitted to practice in 2004 Andrew Wong has appeared in most NSW courts in both a defence and prosecution capacity. He has prosecuted for the NSW and Commonwealth Director of Prosecutions and defended clients charged with serious offences including murder. In addition, he is briefed by the Crown Solicitors Office as Counsel Assisting the Coroner in inquest matters.

He has a busy practice appearing in jury trials in the District Court. In that court, he also appears in appeals (conviction and sentence), sentence proceedings, fitness hearings and judge alone trials. In the Local Court he appears in defended hearings, committal hearings, release / detention applications, sentence proceedings and section 14 applications. He has appeared in the Supreme Court and acted as junior counsel in appeals before the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal.
