Heather appears regularly in criminal matters in the District Court, Local Court, and Children’s Court. Prior to being called to the bar, Heather appeared as Trial Advocate for the Aboriginal Legal Service in both trials and short matters in the District Court. Heather also appeared as Solicitor Advocate in a number of coronial inquests, acting for senior next of kin. Heather instructed counsel in the Court of Criminal Appeal, the Supreme Court and the District Court, and appeared regularly in complex Local Court and Children’s Court matters.
