Harriet Skinner

Admitted as a legal practitioner in 2015

Harriet Skinner commenced her career as a solicitor at the Aboriginal Legal Service in 2015. Prior to being called to the bar, Harriet was a Trial Advocate at the Aboriginal Legal Service, where she appeared in criminal trials both before a jury and judge alone, and also acted for families in coronial inquests.

Harriet is appointed to the Legal Aid Commission of NSW’s Indictable barristers panel for committals, EAGP matters and District Court trials and sentences.
 
Harriet has a special interest in Children’s Criminal Law and is appointed to the Legal Aid Commission of NSW’s Child Crime Panel as well as the Summary Crime and Domestic Violence panels.
